A GBA Chapter Leader is coveted position and comes with comes with great benefits and responsibilities. GBA only allows GBA Professional Members to become a Chapter Leader.
Here are the steps to become a GBA Chapter Leader:
- If you are not already a member, you should go to www.gbaglobal.org/membership and become a Professional Member
- Go to www.gbaglobal.org/chapters to see if we already have a chapter in your city. If we do, contact the existing leader and volunteer to join the leadership team. If there is not a chapter in your city, then go to the next step.
- Fill out an application at www.gbaglobal.org/gba-professional-chapters
- Schedule an orientation call with James Kana, the GBA Director of Chapter Operations. You can schedule a call with him at www.calendly.com/james-kana
- Read, sign and return the GBA Chapter Leadership Agreement to James Kana.
- We will then set up your GBA Chapter on our website and work with you to help launch a successful GBA Chapter.
Becoming part of the GBA leadership team is like becoming part of our family. We communicate, collaborate, and support each other in cities all over the world. We use our social media platform, we have regular global leadership calls and we physically meet twice a year. We share opportunities, resources, and capabilities.
